Our Xenial snap build environment currently doesn't support Rust, which means that cryptography (from PyPI) > 3.4 cannot build.
It looks like this is non-trivial because of the age of Xenial and the needed to get a recent enough Rust toolchain into that environment. So it probably makes more sense to bring the snap up to core20 to resolve this. |
Our Xenial snap build environment currently doesn't support Rust, which means that cryptography (from PyPI) > 3.4 cannot build. This means that we must pin cryptography temporarily, which isn't good long term.
It looks like this is non-trivial because of the age of Xenial and the needed to get a recent enough Rust toolchain into that environment. So it probably makes more sense to bring the snap up to core20 to resolve this. |
