magic trackpad not functioning as evdev, only some wishes work.

ginn 0.2.5+r90+p14~precise1

When I set /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/60-magictrackpad.conf to "evdev", the trackpad does not move but some of the tap wishes work. When I set the conf file to synaptics, I get anything with 3 fingers or more to work, and two-finger right click works, but two finger scrolling does not. edge scrolling from the touchpad settings works, but two finger is greyed out.

seems to have degraded further. Now only the synaptics functions are working. None of the Ginn functions work. some files just got upgraded, maybe will try evdev again.

retrying evdev did not work. Still on synaptic driver with ginn running but no wishes working. Any workarounds for getting the trackpad working again?
