Bug Description
Binary package hint: gimp
To reproduce:
1. Have graphics tablet connected and working (see below for more details)
2. Start GIMP
3. Go to File -> Preferences -> Input Devices -> Configure Extended Input Devices...
4. Observe input dialog, showing device confuration, apparently in working order
5. Change the Device drop down to something other than what's select by default
6. See that tab pane below isn't drawn and therefore can't be used.
I don't know how useful this is, but here's what GIMP puts in ~/.xsession-errors when the above is carried out:
(gimp:4745): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_scrolled_
(gimp:4745): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_realize: assertion `GTK_WIDGET_
(gimp:4745): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_drawable_
(gimp:4745): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_
(gimp:4745): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_scrolled_
(gimp:4745): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_realize: assertion `GTK_WIDGET_
(gimp:4745): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_drawable_
(gimp:4745): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_
Now, I have a Wacom Graphire 2 USB tablet, running on edgy with up-to-date *-generic kernel.
Inkscape shows almost identical behaviour to GIMP in this way. Is this then a GTK bug? Or should I file a similar bug for Inkscape?
