Simple line and rectangle drawing tools

I want some simple drawing tools (like those found in Microsoft Paint).

For drawing straight lines and rectangles.

I use the Pencil tool in GIMP, but I cant draw a straight line, it is too difficult for me.

I want a simple line drawing tool, where I press and hold down the mouse button, and then when I move the mouse, it doesn't really draw the line until I release the button. It only shows how it would draw it if i would release the button until I really release the mouse button, then it really draws the line.

The Gimp is well capable of doing this, but it is well hidden (which is problematic of course). Click the starting point. Hold down shift, move the mouse to the end point, and click again. Voila :-)
