Game will not start properly

I am not sure where this error comes from, but when the game starts, it immediately freezes.
You can see the Faucet screen, and the cursor, but they do not move. The music continues, however.
Also, if you ever try resizing the screen, you get another error box stating that there is an error in the break line.

This might be only my computer, but nevertheless, it is still an issue. I am running 2.4, the newest released version.

Just to clarify, it already freezes immediately on the Faucet screen, not when it should switch to the menu?

Why do you say "another error box"? Did you get one before? And please copy and paste the error message here, or make a screenshot if copy/paste does not work.

When I open the game, it immediately freezes on the Faucet screen. If the cursor is there, it will appear as it would in the game, but will not move. However, the music continues, so I suspect it is only a graphical error.

There error box when I try to resize the screen says "Invalid floating point operation" and for some reason, it appears twice. I don't think it is necessary to post a screenshot.

There is no other error box.
