Bug Description

Joining a server displays these error messages:

"Wrong Number of Players while Deserializing State"
"The Server Spent Unexpected Data"
"Incompatible Server Protocol Version"

This appears even after redownloading the game and updating it. This doesn't happen on a locally hosted game, but now this means I can't play with anyone. Help?

Could be the server you are joining. A modded server with a kick feature sends garbage to "kick" someone and causes those errors.

Did you try other servers?

The error on joining from long name exploit has been fixed. IntelGuard's error seems to be something else entirely.
