Title: Healing Glitch?
Post by: Chicken Soup on October 08, 2009, 12:13:47 AM
I'm not sure what happens, but every once in a while when healing, the target's hp will not rise no matter how long you keep healing. If you stop healing and start again, it will fix. I thought desync, but when you start healing again their hp goes up from where it was.
Not terrible, just a minor annoyance.

Your patient is probably just lagging a bit?

it is desync, you are actually healing someone else/no one, even though you see the heal beam on your client.

I'm pretty sure this happenes to every class. Sometimes my screen shows Pyro's fire, but Quack tells me nothing's coming out. I think you just can't hold M1 down for too long or something..

I'm reasonably sure it's desync caused by a mod on the server.

The character might have had an extended health bar, causing their health to be not-full when you were healing them.
Once you healed x-many points, your client said that they were fully healed.
The sever said no, and the client usually listens to the server.
