BTW i just uploaded for lucid. are the packages automatically copied for rebuilding on maverick or should i do a seperate upload? how are different series are handled in general (haven't anything on the wiki)?

In most cases the resulting binaries are compatible and there is no need to rebuild.
I will test the packages on maverick, if they work fine they can simply be copied at the repository (is not a real copy, it just get added to the Maverick packages index).
