Bug Description
I have installed Getdeb using .deb package from the website, then I ran sudo apt-get update and it returned following errors:
W: The repository 'http://
N: Data from such a repository can't be authenticated and is therefore potentially dangerous to use.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.
E: Failed to fetch http://
E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
and I can't install any getdeb package. If I change 'serena' to 'xenial' in URL, then everything works.
Linux Mint is one of the most popular Linux distributions, so I think a simple check could be added to detdeb scripts. Ubuntu codename is stored in /etc/os-release under UBUNTU_CODENAME
i can confirm that bug :(
