The latest release version of Klavaro is 3.01 (Source downloadable from http://klavaro.sourceforge.net/en/ ). Though Ubuntu 14.10 ships a 3.00 package, 𝐔𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐮 𝟏𝟒.𝟎𝟒𝐋𝐓𝐒 has a very outdated version - klavaro 1.9.9 . 𝐊𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐨 3.x uses GTK3 GUI and so looks better than the GTK2 based klavaro 1.x on Unity and other GNOME3 based desktops.
𝐊𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐨 3.01 is currently in development release Ubuntu 15.04 "Vivid Vervet" and Debian tesing "Jessie". I request klavaro 3.01 be updated/backported to 𝐔𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐮 𝟏𝟒.𝟎𝟒𝐋𝐓𝐒 "Trusty Tahr". |
