Avidemux 2.6.3 is missing x264

Bug Description

The avidemux2.6 version 1:2.6.3-1~getdeb2~quantal is missing the x264 MPEG-4 AVC encodng option. It seems that libavidemux2.6 does depend on libx264-123, but apparently it's not used, so maybe it was compiled without the x264 flag?

Do you have the file
/usr/lib/ADM_plugins6/videoEncoders/libADM_ve_x264_other.so ?

avidemux2.6-plugins-common provides it.

Ok, the build log clearly says that x264 is activated:

The option Mpeg4 AVC (x264) is only available in the QT version (avidemux2.6-qt package) but not in the GTK version.

According to this post the GTK interface misses some features.

For avidemux 2.6.4 the QT interface is the default now:
