Bug Description

Way to reproduce:

1. Open EuroSiS.gexf http://wiki.gephi.org/index.php/Datasets
2. Group nodes according to the 'country' parameter (Partition panel)
3. Try to compute a metric.

Average degree and Diameter output 0.
Average Path Length outputs NaN.
etc.

importance: Undecided → Critical
milestone: none → 0.7beta

I also notice that the Context display "Edges: 0" at the top of this hierarchy.

And the Degree Range filter has NaN boundaries.

Meta-edges are different from edges, and are not included by default in iterators for consistency reasons. That means they are not directly found and modules have to be adapted to actually use Hierarchical Graph. That has been done for layout or visualization but not for filters and statistics.

The workaround is to use the flatten filter to transform meta-edges into edges.
