Bug Description

I've installed the Gedit Project Manager Plugin on Ubuntu 11.10 (32 bit).
I've extracted the folder in ~/.local/share/gedit/plugins/
I open gedit and activate the plugin going to Edit-->Preferences>Plugins.
I check the Project Manager plugin box.
If I click on the Preferences button for the plugin gedit crashes.

Have you installed the GSettings scheme, as described in the README file? (Section Manual Installation, 2.)

Unfortunately I feel very silly but I didn't...
now it seems to work. I'm sorry to have posted a fake bug...

Never mind. Btw, for Ubuntu the recommended way of installation is the PPA https://launchpad.net/~gedit-bc-dev-plugins/+archive/releases .

I feel now, that Gedit should not crash. In version 1.1 there is now a dialog that warns the user when the GSettings scheme is not installed.
