xgsch2pcb should select newly added schematics

Bug Description
From watching some students using xgsch2pcb...
It seems that we should be selecting a new schematic which is added to the schematics list. The users added a schematic, then immediately clicked on "Edit schematic" to open it - we should have auto-selected the one they just added.
"Perhaps", when adding a new (blank) schematic, we should even open it?
