Bug Description

I just received an e-mail with two attachments one with a name like "name+surname+%281%29.pdf" and "name surname.docx", neither can be opened by left-click. There is no eror, just nothing happens. For the .docx it may be because of bug 1097689 but the pdf can be opened after having been saved by right clicking.

The first problem (with the PDF) I've reproduced here. It appears Geary is decoding the filename incorrectly. I've ticketed this at http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/6234

Your other problem with the DOCX file is known. When there is no registered program for a file type, Geary should offer to save the file when you right-click on it: http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/5377
