Multiple mails per account aren't possible

Its quite normal two have two or more mail addresses associated with one mail account.

Geary should support this and also allow to select from which address a messege is send when composing an email.

Here you can see how it is done in Thunderbird. There is drop down list where you can select the outgoing address http://www.activewebhosting.com/faq/images/email-thunderbird-11.gif

Yeah, this is pretty vital for me. Bummed to see that this is currently targetted for 0.4.0 and not 0.3.0 anymore.

I've added a link to the upstream ticket. Some work on this was done earlier this year, but necessary work on it remains.

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Not fixed for me. I can add multiple email addresses and select them while sending.

However, on the receiving side I still get the same email address no matter which one I choose. In other words, the selection of sending address doesn't seem to have any effect.

Nevermind, my school's SMTP server just sucks...
