Bug Description

I follow this tutorial http://gearman.info/build/centos5-8.html and now the error I receive is

root@server [~/gearmand-1.1.12]# ./configure -with-boost=no
checking whether the C compiler works... no
configure: error: in `/root/gearmand-1.1.12':
configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details
root@server [~/gearmand-1.1.12]#
