Bug Description

Trying to compile GearmanD 1.1.5 on a 64 bit system is extremely slow. By slow I started the make command over 20 minutes ago and it's still sitting at:

  CXX examples/examples_echo_worker-echo_worker.o
  CXX examples/examples_echo_client-echo_client.o
  CXX examples/examples_reverse_client-reverse_client.o
  CXX examples/examples_reverse_client_bg-reverse_client_bg.o

I had this same situation with 1.1.4 but figured it would resolve itself with the next version, but it does not appear to be.

I tried this on a 32 bit system and the make command is actually very fast, no delay at all.

Here is my configure line:

    ./configure \
    --prefix=/usr/local/gearman \
    --disable-libmemcached \
    --disable-libdrizzle \
    --disable-libpq \
    --disable-libtokyocabinet \

Sorry, what happened was that I found a bug in how man pages were being generated that forced me to disable the parallel build option.

I should have a fix for it shortly.
