PHP Client issue GETSOCKOPT() FAILED -> LIBGEARMAN/CONNECTION.CC:104

I started seeing this message after upgrading to gearmand 0.32 and the gearman pecl extension 1.02:

PHP WARNING: GEARMANCLIENT::DOBACKGROUND() [GEARMANCLIENT.DOBACKGROUND]: CONNECT_POLL(CONNECTION REFUSED) GETSOCKOPT() FAILED -> LIBGEARMAN/CONNECTION.CC:104

I have seen this in Ubuntu Server 10.04, both 32 and 64 bit, as well as OS X Lion 10.7.3

php extension: gearman-1.0.2

This looks to be fixed in latest versions.

Whats the fix? I seem to be having it as well and both gearmand and pecl client are the latest I can get.

Let me verify who you are experiencing.

Can you give me a description about how/when this is happening? Is it repeatable?
