no man pages for gdm

Binary package hint: gdm

I installed Lucid Alpha 2, and then took all available updates.
I wanted to learn how to configure gdm, so I tried man gdm, and
then man -k gdm. There appears to be no man pages for gdm.

I can't find it elsewhere either, so I doubt it exists.

If it is of any help, 8.04 had a manpage for gdm, and a default gdm.conf that had extensive included documentation.

In Ubuntu 12.10 Alpha "Quantal Quetzal", man gdm works. I'd also suggest you read /usr/share/doc/gdm/README.Debian which explains a bit about /etc/gdm/greeter.gsettings where you can configure several parts of GDM.

I'm going to go ahead and close this bug since it seems fixed.
