User field deleted after import of another collection

Bug Description
As reported via http://
"I have a gcs collection of books, with user field "old author", "old isbn", containing data for some books (size of the collection 800 items, most with picture).
I import another gcs collection for which no user fields were created (size 150 items, with picture).
The user fields are visible after the import.
But they disappear after opening another collection, and then coming back."
