Bug Description

This is a major bug, because a lot of manually added information is gone now.

After I opened my movie collection today, the user fields tab was not there anymore. I checked Settings-->Visible Fields and there were no tabs with User Fields either. The information was deleted. I also checked the .gcs file with a browser: No User Field entries. I have two more collections a game and a book collection on which I have the same User Fields. On this collections the User Fields tab and all information is still there.

I couldn't reproduce the problem.

Sad story: In my case it's extremefully bad, because I added information I cannot recover. I only added one User field entry: I added the dates, when I watched the movies. When I watched a movie I put the date into gcstar and only in gcstar. Now all the dates are deleted and I don't have the information of the dates stored somewhere else (e.g. in an organizer). No chance to recover these informations! I don't have a backup for my last entries.

Wishlist: Put another field next to the radio button where you can click wether you've watched a film yet or not with the possibility to enter dates. Not only one date, because when you watch a movie twice or more often, you can remember it when you stored the information in gcstar. This additional field could be good for book, game and other collections a s well.

Temporary Workaround: I will step back to my last collection backup and I will use the field description for my additional information and will no longer use User Fields.

System: Windows XP Home Edition SP2
GC Star: 1.5.0
3 collections: movie, books, games

Hope this bug can be fixed for the next release.

Best,
sickonede
