Hi,
I face the same on Amazon.fr with GCStar 1.7.0 on Ubuntu 13.10
How to reproduce :
I click on 'Add Book' and introduce the ISBN (eg 9780586066249 for a book in english or 9782731614725 for a book in french) then click 'Get Information'.
The 'Search in progress' step is started and executed and the next step 'Getting Information' is activated, but never ends...
The only solution is to click on 'Cancel'. The next search will always fails and stay in step 'Search in progress'. Only solution is to 'cancel' then try again. Not 100% lucky and you can get the other reported bug about the fact a click on 'Get Information' does not do anything. Only workaround : stop GCStar and restart
I checked that the ISBN I was searching for details always exists on Amazon.fr.
It could be possible that the data reverted by amazon.xx can not be parsed/interpreted by GCStar and that the program is waiting for something it did not received in the answer.
