Bug Description

My Gnome applets are crashing randomly after I log in:

"Panel encountered a problem with loading OAFIID:GNOME_<applet>"

Sometimes, no applet crashes.

Sometimes it's glipper which crashes.

Sometimes it's the stickynotes applet which crashes.

There are some similar reports in launchpad, but they are mostly about a single applet crashing. To me, it looks like it's some more general Gnome problem with applets.

Reproducible on Ubuntu 10.10 on two different machines (32 bit, 64 bit), freshly after installation.

This bug has been ongoing since atleast ubuntu lucid. Still no one has fixed it. I have to reload the panel every single day atleast once.
