It is a 4.8 bug. Trunk doesn't ICE. So it is likely that a mainline backport can fix it.

4.8 Linux version doesn't ICE

It is mingw32 tools bug. Upgrading mingw32 GCC to 4.6.4 fixes it. Updating build environment for 4.8 update 1 release to solve it.
