Santiago: Yes, but only for RSS/News service for now.

Weather info can't be fetched more times than 1 time per 3 hours, so here we can go with one update each 30 minutes.

RSS News feed can be configured.

Zeitgeist/Recent files has to use another approach. I like to get the info live, but also without doing to much Input/Output requests. Maybe we should do this with listening for Zeitgeist events via a DBUS interface.
