Bug Description
I wanted to test the app (after testing glc with good feelings) but it doesn't start:
:~$ gamecaster
Menu tree is empty
root - ERROR - Could not find any typelib for AppIndicator3

Had this same issue, went through and did apt-cache search Appindicator3, looked at the packages available and installed gir1.2- appindicator3- 0.1 - Typelib files for libappindicator3-1. This apparently fixed that issue, allowed gamecaster to run. Haven't tried recording anything yet, but this appears to be a dependancy issue and the above typelib files appears to have fixed it.
