Bug Description

build 153
When launching gallery, a screen is displayed that says "Loading" with a spinner. The expected behavior is (and used to work) that the spinner would animate and the Loading screen would only be displayed for about a second, at which point the Events view would be loaded, with pictures filling in asynchronously (each having it's own spinner for progress).

The current behavior is Loading screen stays visible for many seconds with spinner not moving. When events screen is displayed all the photos are already loaded.

Please fix to restore the previous behavior as described above
