Application Snapping Animations Glitchy

When I have an application that is snapped to one side, and I move it to the other side. Some application animations are smooth and go back and forth as expected. But some of them are very choppy, and seem to start the animation from their non-snapped location, rather than their currently snapped location. Here is a subset of examples.

These apps transition correctly:
Terminal, Music, Calendar, File Browser, Scratch, Chrome, Settings, Photos

These apps don't:
Geary, Firefox, Midori, Epiphany, Libreoffice

The broken ones are extremely noticeable when you are using that app on your non-primary monitor because it starts the animation from the primary monitor every time.
