Bug Description
This is rather a missing feature than an actual bug, the issue is the following:
any chat programs that supports sending notifications to Gala can easily flood it with the initial readback lines displayed. In my case, opening up Hexchat means literally a few hundred notifications.
The idea would be to introduce a late-limit, potentially per app that prevents this behaviour.
