Bug Description

I tried dragging application windows to the left edge, right edge, and top edge and window tiling-snap does not work. I did a system update, then reinstalled Gala and logged out but no dice.

Correction: It actually does work, I just didn't realize it until after I released the clicker. I'm used to the tile-snapping in Unuty/Gnome/Xfce/KDE/Cinnamon/Mate in which releasing the clicker first is not required. Sorry for the misunderstanding, and I think this should stay up so those that haven't tried letting go of that clicker can see my mistake and realize what to do.

summary: - Window tiling-snap left side/right side/top doesn't work.
+ Window tiling-snap left side/right side/top isn't evident until
+ finishing the drag-and-drop action

I agree that something needs to be in place to let the user know that a window is going to snap or tile.

Agreed, Luna has this feature and I too though at first that Freya did not support window snapping due to the lack of the usual color indicator.

This is not purely a UI discoverability issue. Occasionally, I fail to get the window to snap because there's no visual indicator. Regression still present in 0.3.2.
