workspace switching bounce animation flickers

When you try to change a workspace and there is no more there's a bounce animation, as expected. But I noticed some errors:

Bounce on the left side:
Sometimes appears anywhere on the screen a black bar if you try to switch a few times.

Bounce on the right side:
It's not proporcional, it "eats" a little bit of the screen.

I'm pretty sure "bouncing on the left side" is a feature of it. You can only create a new workspace to the right of you.

I'm using the stable version of Freya, and this bug continues, happens in both my PC and laptop.

#2 The bounce is ok, but some grey vertical bars flicker.

Agree with Jorge: the bounce is something I like. The flickering or inconsistent/jarred animation is bad.

I am having the same issue. DId not with the Beta of Freya nor do i have this problem with LUNA. I will stay with Luna for now until an apparent fix is applied.

From what i can tell, the flickering is not caused by just one action, but seems to be tied into desktop transition effects, fade, transparency etc. My first initial guess (often the most accurate from the gut) is perhaps this flickering is caused by the new TASKBAR???? I have seen that it is mostly fully transparent, but sometimes turns dark grey or black like in Luna, but depending on your wallpaper? Is this a new feature for Elementary keeping with the times? Etc Ubuntu Unity AUTO-Matches colour themes to wallpapers as does Windows 8 and onwards.

This is about the best i can come up with. Im no developer but do have an eye for diagnosing stuff :)

Thinkpad x201 here. Alt-tabbing between windows will cause the screen to flicker violently for me, and trying to switching to the workspace after the left/right most, also causes the "bounce" animation to flicker.

No flickering when notification popups come up, or when hovering over the taskbar.
