Triggering alt+tab shows minimized windows for a fraction of time

1. Have some minimized and normal windows.
2. Hit and hold alt+tab.
3. For a moment you can see minimized windows fade away.

Minimized windows should visually stay minimzed and hidden. They can appear as icons at the bottom and they can be switched to.

I have managed to reproduce this. I am not sure what I missed last time (in hindsight, I must've wrote that down).

1. Open Chrome and make sure its window is not full screen.
2. Open Mail, move it so that it doesn't entirely overlap the Chrome window, and then click on its icon again to minimze it
3. Open Maya and keep it there
4. Pressing Alt+Tab should cause a flicker where the Mail app was positioned.

I believe it might also be related to the same thing:

Same setting as above:
1. Open Chrome and make sure its window is not full screen.
2. Open Mail, move it so that it doesn't entirely overlap the Chrome window, and then click on its icon again to minimze it
3. Open Maya and keep it there
4. Press cmd+down to see all the windows on the workspace, the Mail app appears suddenly. Expected: use some other animation effect, maybe just cause it to fade in? Question: should the Mail app even be showed anymore, since it's minimized?
5. Press cmd+down again to close this view, the Mail view will move to it's screen position and vanish suddenly.
