Bug Description

Hi!

I made a correct *.tex file. As I was typeing the pdflatex ./*.tex command with enter, the system made a fatal error:

This is pdfTeX, Version 3.1415926-1.40.10 (TeX Live 2009/Debian)
 restricted \write18 enabled.
---! /home/bg/.texmf-var/web2c/pdftex/pdflatex.fmt doesn't match pdftex.pool
(Fatal format file error; I'm stymied)

I have the full texlive packages.

Thank you,
balasg78

Hey,
removing the .texmf-var/ folder in my home folder worked for me.

Can you enlighten me, why this is assigned to g-CTAN project?

Closing that outdated report as EOL has been reached long time ago
