New hypervisor type doesn't reflect in Dashboard/Summary

In MOS 8.0, we can define a new hypervisor type in components.yaml. And in a new environment, choosing that hypervisor type will reflect in "Settings" tab/Compute Section, but not in "Dashboard" tab/"Summary" section/"Compute" field, it is still QEMU.

John, could you please provide an information where is your new hypervisor stored in the environment settings?

My new hypervisor type is defined in https://github.com/openstack/fuel-plugin-xenserver/blob/master/components.yaml.

Sorry I forgot to mention the criteria was for a Fuel plugin.

Thank you for the additional information, John.
The issue can not be fixed for 8.0/9.0 releases due to Medium priority.
Also, a fix is not trivial for the issue, because the new hypervisor setting is a plugin and not a core Fuel setting. We'll think what we can do to improve the UX.
