Verified on 10.1 #1578.
path_mtu value in /etc/neutron/plugins/ml2/ml2_conf.ini after deployment is not default:
root@node-1:~# grep -i path_mtu /etc/neutron/plugins/ml2/ml2_conf.ini
#path_mtu = 0
path_mtu = 8000
