Bug Description

In Fuel 8.0, in the wizard I am shown "QEMU-KVM" as a hypervisor selection. However, in the Settings tab under Compute settings, it still shows a radio button for KVM and QEMU as individual options.

These should be implemented in the same way - I recommend collapsing the Settings selection be a single checkbox (like the wizard is now).

That is not a bug. The component "QEMU-KVM" is in fact libvirt, that has two possible operations modes: qemu or kvm. The bug is invalid

What we have to solve in 8.0 is the misleading UX. The wizard reads that they are a combined solution, while the setting page has two choices, the locations for this option must be the same.

The way the wizard reads currently implies that we take care of automaticly, but on the settings page there is a clear distinction still between the same modes.

Because this will lead to deployment failures this is UX critical.

Either make the wizard reflect the two modes (same as settings)

OR

remove the setting and auto detect the correct setting for nova-compute.conf using puppet (exec `kvm_ok`)

Won't fix it for 9.0. This is usability issue not a real defect.
