Fabrizio, please explain impact of this bug better. Will this bug cause a node to eventually run out of space in the root file system? If so, this was misprioritized and should be High, which would make it eligible for backport.

It happened that a customer, after a very long and intense run test, identified the huge ceilometer logs as responsible for filling /var/log. This, standing at their observations, led to performance degrading and high loads.
