Bug Description

det.fuel-infra.org has one active server (seed01-bud.fuel-infra.org) and one for backup
They should have identical content.

I need theese two nodes to be synced at night:
seed01-bud.fuel-infra.org
seed01-scc.fuel-infra.org

Can we do some sync jobs on both servers so newly uploaded or modified files/folders on one node will be synced in 24h to another?

Why don't you want to use the one node from EU DC? We don't use our mirrors as backup nodes. If you want to have a backup, you can create any other server and configure Bacula backup system with IT-folks.

As we discussed, we need two nodes, one in US location and one in EU location.
DNS will lead only to EU node, and we will manage files (upload, delete, change) via EU host, however US node should be synced with EU for failover.

In case of EU node failure we will only switch DNS name or use US IP to retreive files, like:
curl -i -H 'Host: det.fuel-infra.org' http://74.217.65.25/path/to/file

In that schema we:
1) don't need to have backup storage as files are mirrored
2) have failover host to switchh in case of EU node failure
3) have one node per geographical location (one for US and one for EU)

Can you finish this task? Installing/configuring rsync does not seem to be very hard.
