[astute] Unable to run run_tests.sh on OSX

Bug Description

The fuel-astute/run_tests.sh is not compatible with OSX. When attempting to run the fuel-astute/run_tests.sh on OSX, the script throws multiple errors:

readlink: illegal option -- f
usage: readlink [-n] [file ...]
usage: dirname path
usage: mktemp [-d] [-q] [-t prefix] [-u] template ...
       mktemp [-d] [-q] [-u] -t prefix
