Bug Description

if you change releases in metadata.yaml to

releases: []

it still attempts to access the data structure beneath it even though it passes validation against the schema

further more, it attempts to build the repo's regadless, both should be prevented.

Could you please clarify it a bit more?

Because it's valid format.

Are you sure about that? I checked it, and if there are no releases, it doesn't try to build any repositories.

Changed in fuel:
status: In Progress → Invalid
importance: Undecided → Medium
milestone: none → 6.0
