hmmm, what version are you using? it looks like there might be some mismatch between the version of the dmedia-cli script and the dmedia python package.

As of revno 178 (and stable release 0.5.0) `dmedia.client` has been moved to `dmedia.gtkui.client`.

Oops! Totally released dmedia 0.5.0 with a broken `dmedia-cli` (need to add some unit tests for this script).

A fix has already been committed for 0.6, which isn't too long now (April 28).

I'd also happily make a 0.5.1 bugfix release with just this fix (tiny, silly change). Would that help on the Frugalware front, or would you rather pick up this fix in 0.6?

Thanks again for all the testing! Really nice to have someone beating up on this in another distro. And I apologize that dmedia is such a fast moving target still. I promise, it's not out of spite :)

As you wish, our next stable version will be released in August, if 0.6 will be ready before this date, I can wait :)
