Fridge does not track podcasts produced by LoCo groups

The Fridge, subject to editorial oversight, should be able to track podcasts produced by LoCo groups and highlight at a meta level things from the podcasts.

Thanks for your suggestion! Do you have any specific ideas as to what it means to "track" and "highlight" in the context of fridge?

Would these be pulled via RSS feeds submitted by the podcasts and displayed in a sidebar? Or something similar?

Or a more manual process of having a separate fridge post each week (or more? less?) with the community podcasts of the week?

A sidebar to the site would work well. To the best of my knowledge, only Ubuntu UK Podcast and Burning Circle would be considered currently active podcasts associated with a LoCo. Each program has an RSS feed which could be imported into a sidebar tool.

That could be done but I would not recommend it. Consolidation this way would reduce burdens on the Ubuntu Weekly Newsletter team as these team podcasts are effectively regular fixtures. Distrowatch.com routinely posts links to new episodes for each program in a sidebar on their site. Automatically tracking via Fridge would reduce workk for UWN conceivably relative to these fixtures.
