Backups created using freezer-agent invisible to the API and freezer client

If you create a backup using the freezer-agent, that backup does not appear in any list of known backups (e.g. the freezer client, the freezer API, etc.).

My understanding is that the reason for this is that the freezer-agent doesn't interact with the API to report the creation of this backup, and that this behaviour is "as designed"; however, it's unclear to someone unfamiliar with this situation that when a user requests a list of backups that some of the backups they know they've executed are not visible or available to modify or delete from within the provided methods of interaction with freezer.
