Bug Description

Apophysis allows editing values on Triangle tab, the corresponding Xform tab in Fr0st does not have this ability. The change would allow the use of smaller translation / rotating /scale increments. Such ability is important for working with some hyper-sensitive (and usually the most interesting) flame regions.

You mean the values of the drop-down boxes for rotate, translate, scale? Those can be edited by typing directly into them. Please clarify.

Vitor,

I am working on the different computer today - on this machine I can edit
the fields but not without some difficulty.
For example: When I highlight the field and attempt to edit the editing
happens fine, but when I place the cursor in the different field and start
typing the changes happen in the first field, not in the field where the
cursor is. More than one field appear selected (blue highlight) even when
the cursor is not present in either of the fields. The problem happens
somewhat intermittently. Yesterday on the different machine I could not edit
the desired field - so I assumed that none of them were editable. It is
possible that the problem was similar to today's - and I simply could not
properly place focus in the desired field. Try going from field to field and
keep changing values - you should be able to duplicate the issue I am
talking about. Both of the machines were booted to Windows XP SP3 at the
time.

I hope it helps

Hi Vitor,

This reply is not relevant to original subject and you may safely disregard
it.

I have been using fractal software for hours a day and for several years by
now.
I do not know if my use and demand are typical, but I don't think they are
exotic.

When it comes to flame software such as Fr0st, different versions of
Apophysis, Fractron9000, etc. there are several important aspects that
determine the value of the program for me as a graphic designer.
On this list plugin support and ability to use Flam4 CUDA rendering rate
very high. There are approximately 500 stable internal/external
plugins/variations out there. To my knowledge only small fraction of them
is supported by Flam4. I would happily part with $100.00 or so for a stable
product that would allow me to use 3D Hack variations with aforementioned
plugins AND flam4 rendering.

Admittedly I have no idea what project like that would entail and suspect
it would require ungodly amount of work... but want to put my "two cents"
anyway...

Ragards,

Andrew
