after adding a new map type it cannot be deleted

in the Configuration panel you can add a new map type but you cannot delete it (or at least I failed to find the option)

is there a configuration file where I can delete it for a quick workaraound?

The gconf-editor method works for me.

Yes, editing the map-definitions in GConf is ugly.
I'm open to suggestions.

Maybe a `Delete' button in the edit-dialog? Or under the ComboBox?

Either of those would be straightforward; there are probably other options.

How do other apps handle things like this?
