Bug Description

I don't know if it's possible to tell Contractor to blacklist some contracts, but we shouldn't display an option to Burn to disc a note. Who'd use it?

You can burn whatever to a disc, so, a note could be... But really, now,
who is burning discs with other things that musics (and films)? (Who is
burning discs at all?) This contract comes from contractor, if there is
no problem, I would prefer only accept audio and video files there...

Well, the Brasero contract is set to accept text files...

However, I've already have a fix for this, I just need https://code.launchpad.net/~voluntatefaber/granite/contractorview-custom-items ti be merged.

Tbh, I don't think we should be shipping a brasero contract with contractor. And really I'd be all for removing brasero from the default install.

While my laptop has no optical drive, I hardly see burning discs as obsolete or optional. I do use a DVD burner on another machine on a regular basis and without it I'd have a bit of a problem.

I think the 'Burn to disc' contract should never show up for text files. And I would also say it should not show up on my laptop without a burner. But removing Brasero is not a solution, it's removing features because Contractor is too inflexible.

The real solution would be to make Contractor aware that "Brasero" requires "/dev/cdrw" or "/dev/dvdrw" to exist. It would not be enough to do at install time, because some people use external devices.

Marking as fixed for footnote, I simply blacklisted it for the contractor view.

By the why, I don't think this is a problem, since it won't shipped neither
the contract nor the program
