Between this bug, the lack of support for extensions like AdBlock, and the lack of support for Forward/Back buttons on ThinkPad keyboards, I'm not sure what problem Fogger aims to solve. NONE of this is an issue with Chromium app shortcuts.
With Fogger, 2 of these 3 issues get assigned a "Won't Fix" and just seemingly disappear from the bug tracker.
What is the compelling reason to switch to Fogger from Chromium?

Nothing. No one should switch from Chromium/Firefox to Fogger. That would be a stupid thing to do. Chromium is a browser for the whole web. Fogger is not a browser. It's aim is not to replace Chromium. The aim is to make webapps installable from ppas or software center and provide a JS API so they can interact with the desktop. Flash works with a workaround and will work out of box in 12.10 or 13.04 (as soon as WebKit2 lands). Back/Forward buttons issue will be fixed; I'm just not sure yet if an app should handle these or if the WM should handle it. AdBlock is a chromium/firefox extension, it won't work in fogger. Anyone can write a userscript to block ads in Fogger (which is evil BTW).

Hi,
the nspluginwrapper trick work for me.
But is it possible to use the nspluginwrapper lib only for fogger?
I have a 64-bit system and it makes for me no sense to use 32bit flash in my browser.
cheers

Flash should work out of the box but flash should also never be used...here's hoping the latter comes soon.
