To install a program you would do it was you normally would using Ubuntu's archives in /etc/apt/sources.list. I suggest you open synaptic and serarcvh and use that to install packages. You not being able to install package fro Ubuntu arcive is not a firefox issue. Please reopen once you have removed the version of adblock-plus that you got from Mozilla plugins page and install Ubuntu's version and and tested to make sure it is reproducible | |
