Bug Description
I am using Finnix 111, following the procedure for remastering the CD.
To cut down on CD drive I/O, I've booted Finnix with the "toram" option.
I see that there is a copy of the contents of the CD under /media/
# diff -r /media/sr0 /media/
Only in /media/
Only in /media/sr0: isolinux.bin
These two files are less than 50 kB combined, so their absence from cd_base appears to be an oversight.
To post a comment you must log in.
I forgot to mention, the reason why these two missing files are an issue in the first place is that finnix-build-stage2 errors out with
Required boot file missing: isolinux.bin
when /srv/finnix/ build/master/ is populated from cd_base.
I can get isolinux.bin from /usr/lib/ISOLINUX/ in the running system, but boot.cat can only be found on the mounted CD.
